Meet Recap

The Brownwood Lions Varisity Boys competed in the Liberty Hill Invitational on Saturday September 9th. While several of the Lions ran their season best times, they were without some key varsity runners. Freshmen Roman McKibben led the way for the Lions with a 16th place finish. McKibben completed the 5K course in a time of 18:10. The trio of Damian Cisneros , Logan Dick, and Hunter Day finished in 25th, 26th, and 27th respectively . Cisneros finished in a time of 18:28, Dick finished in 18:30, and Day finished in 18:34. Jason Sanchez rounded out the scoring for the Lions with a 39th place finish in 19:23. Rounding out the Lion finishers were Eloy Castillo who finished in 53rd place with a time of 20:50. The trio of Aaron Menchaca, Brayden Yazella, and Garrett Ellis. Menchaca finished in 55th with at 21:32, Yazella 56th in 21:33, and Eliis 57th in 21:43. The Lions will next be in action on Wednesday September 13th when they will host the Brownwood Invitational , which will be held at Brownwood Middle School. The Varsity Boys will run at 5:30 PM, and the JV Boys will run at 6:15 PM.
